Lunch & Listen is an independent, student-founded speaker series. Our sessions run on the Saigon South International School campus, hosted with the school's AWWA club.

School announcements list our sessions under AWWA. Lunch & Listen is an independent group; AWWA is the recognised school club that hosts our events on campus.

We aim to inspire youth through networking opportunities with professionals.

Sessions run roughly every two weeks, during second lunch at the SDC Stairs, Saigon South International School, Ho Chi Minh City.

AWWA ("Accepting Who We Are") is a student club at the school. Saigon South International School does not own or run Lunch & Listen.

Ryan Nguyen, Grade 11. I am the marketing director. I run our promotion and social media, photograph and film each session, and oversee the website that shows guests and students what we have actually done. My skills range Photography and Videography, Visual Design, and Marketing Strategy. I hope for Lunch and Listen to build a record so clear that the professionals we invite recognise us before we introduce ourselves.

Hi everyone! I’m Cindy, a senior at SSIS. I’m the Head of Communications, so I mainly make sure everyone is on the same page. Whether it’s communicating with teachers or coordinating within our team, I help keep information clear so things run smoothly and everyone knows what’s going on.

Kelly Luong
Hi! My name is Kelly and I am currently a senior. As treasurer of Lunch and Listen, I manage the funds for our club, which allows us to make lunch sales possible and host guest speakers. My skills include being a quick learner and someone who can adapt to changes easily. In the future, I hope Lunch and Listen goes beyond inspiring youth at our school and into an organization that can inspire students in communities everywhere. I hope to help create a lasting impact by connecting young people with role models that encourage them to make a difference in the world.

Kylie Nguyen
Kylie Nguyen, Grade 10. I am the head of design. I work in curating and creating designs to be used for promotion and announcements, building an individual style specific to Lunch and Listen. My skills include Graphic Design, Visual Communication and Creative Direction. I hope for Lunch and Listen to build a visual identity that leaves a lasting impression and inspires our youth.

Lily Phan, Grade 12. I am the outreach and human resources lead. At times, I act as an advisor to the founder. My skills range Outreach Communication, Professional Relationship Development, and Professional writing. I hope for Lunch and Listen to connect students with captivating community members and foster inspiration for our youth’s future paths.
